South Heidelberg Township, PA -  The South Heidelberg Township Police Department is extremely proud and excited to announce that Bryan Baxter Jr., and Alexander Doelp have been hired as full time Police Officers with the Department.  The addition of Officer Baxter and Officer Doelp culminates an extensive 3-month search for professional and experienced Officers to assist the growing Department.  The process to hire the Officers started with a written aptitude test, which was followed with a physical agility test.  The applicants that passed both of those tests were then offered an oral interview conducted by three senior members of the Department and was followed up with an extensive background check.  Officers Baxter and Doelp were the top two candidates that consistently excelled during every aspect of the hiring process and will be welcome additions to the Department to assist with our Mission of providing the highest quality law enforcement services available anywhere.
